There are a lot of things that could be said about Myanmar, but I would just like to concentrate on the amazing people living there. Despite the current political situation, I found people greeting me with open arms and a big beautiful smile. Everyone was keen to learn about me, my home and everything else imaginable. I learned a lot from my discussions with taxi drivers, monks, teachers, guides and random people on the street and I like to think that they learned something from me too.

I spent three weeks backpacking around the country and took quite a number of photos and my favorite ones can be seen on this page. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them, and that you too will be touched by the charms of this beautiful country and its people.
